Long, narrow and too dark, the existing space requires intervention. We decide to introduce two compact and equipped volumes which resolve the different uses of the program in order to optimize space as much as possible. Kitchen and bathroom are placed strategically centered allowing light to enter the living and bedrooms spaces. Their materiality contrast and dialog with the existing, offering wide views and a continuos space that is not partitioned. Painted in white and dark smoked oak they become the protagonist of the project, while defining a new ample living space.
